To familiarize yourself with the image navigation start by placing your cursor over the image and notice that while it is spinning the cursor will change its appearance. This is good. Notice the icons below. As you move your mouse you notice these icons appear. As they change in appearance, so does their function. Try each one out to see how it affects the image.

The first thing a Windows user will notice when inside the image is that the cursor becomes a 4 arrow icon. When you want to move within image, HOLD DOWN your left mouse button and drag the 4 arrow icon in the direction you wish to move. this will allow you to navigate freely in any direction. The 4 arrow icon moves the image slowly if held near the center of the picture. The closer the 4 arrow gets to the edge of the picture, the faster the image moves.

The 2 arrow icon, which allows you to zoom in and zoom out, appears when the cursor is slightly above or slightly below the center of the image. To zoom closer into the image, HOLD DOWN your mouse button when the 2 arrow icon is slightly above the center of the image. To zoom further out of the image, HOLD DOWN your mouse button when the 2 arrow icon is slightly below the center of the image.

A Mac user will notice when inside a image is that the cursor becomes a closed hand icon. To move inside the image, HOLD DOWN your left mouse button and drag the closed hand icon in the direction you wish to move. The closed hand icon moves the image slowly if held near the center of the picture. The closer the closed hand gets to the edge of the picture, the faster the image moves.
